Tata Harrier XE is the diesel variant in the Harrier lineup and is priced at 14.39 Lakh.It returns a certified mileage of 16.35 kmpl. This XE variant comes with an engine putting out 168 bhp @ 3750 rpm and 350 Nm @ 1750 rpm of max power and max torque respectively. Tata Harrier XE is available in Manual transmission and offered in a colour: Orcus White.

The variants of the Tata Harrier SUV are broadly divided into six variants - XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, and XZ+.
Market Introduction
Tata Motors launched the Harrier in India in January 2019. Initially launched with a diesel engine and manual transmission, the automatic gearbox was introduced by the carmaker in February 2020.
Engine and Specifications
The Harrier is powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine that produces 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. It comes mated to a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission. Although there is no AWD version, the Harrier does come with a special ESP system with selectable modes for different conditions – normal, wet, and rough.
The Harrier measures 4,598mm in length, is 1,714mm tall and 1,894mm wide and boasts 2,741mm of wheelbase.
Exterior and Design
The Harrier sports a pair of low-placed headlamps and sleek high-placed DRLs which is allegedly the new trend these days. The profile has flared arches, a sloping roof, and a floating effect on the D-pillar which defines the character of the Harrier. At the rear, it gets sleek yet sharp LED tail lamps and a sculpted tailgate.
Interior and Features
The 8.8-inch floating infotainment system dominates the dashboard which has a wood-finished insert running across it. The features list of the Harrier includes an eight-way adjustable driver seat with a four-way adjustable co-driver seat, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, electric ORVMs, cooled storage box, an electric sunroof, and many practical storage places all around.
Colours
There are five exterior shades to choose from – Calypso Red, Camo Green, Orcus White, Daytona Grey, and Oberon Black. A contrast black roof can also be opted with Orcus White and Calypso Red.

The Tata Harrier has a seating layout to accommodate five occupants.
