Mercedes-Benz E-Class E 220d Exclusive is the diesel variant in the E-Class lineup and is priced at 69.30 Lakh. This E 220d Exclusive variant comes with an engine putting out 192 bhp @ 3800 rpm and 400 Nm @ 1600 rpm of max power and max torque respectively. Mercedes-Benz E-Class E 220d Exclusive is available in Automatic (Torque Converter) transmission and offered in 6 colours: Obsidian Black, Mojave Silver, Selenite Grey, Designo Hyacinth Red, High Tech Silver and Polar White.
The 2021 E-Class long-wheelbase comes in three variants – Expression, Exclusive and AMG Line. The Expression and Exclusive are available in the petrol and diesel powertrain options, while the AMG Line is limited to the E350d with a diesel powertrain.
The facelifted E-Class is now just over five metres in length hence has an extended wheelbase of 3,079 metres. It features new high-performance LED headlamps with DRLs as well as a reworked grille and bumpers. The car gets new tail lamps design with a chrome strip running across the boot. Additionally, there is a panoramic sunroof and 360-degree view cameras and a park pilot feature. The AMG line E 350d gets a revised grille, bumpers, side skirts, AMG specific 18-inch alloy wheels and air suspension. Mercedes is offering two new paint options – Selenite Grey and Designo Hyacinth Red alongside the existing paint choices such as Polar White, Obsidian Black, High-Tech Silver and Mojave Silver.
The dashboard, centre console and door pads now come with new wood panel inserts. The updated E-Class now features Artico leather upholstery for seats, a 590W Burmester sound system, a new steering wheel, reclining rear seats with memory function and soft-closing doors. Mercedes-Benz now provides two 12.3-inch screens with MBUX and the latest Mercedes Me Connect in the E-Class facelift. The car also features wireless charging pads at the front and rear, 64 colours of ambient lighting, a tablet-like controller for the infotainment system placed in the rear armrest etc.
The E200 gets a 1,991cc four-cylinder petrol engine which makes 194bhp and 320Nm torque while the E200d has a 1,950cc four-cylinder diesel engine which produces 192bhp and 400Nm torque. Lastly, the AMG Line E350d variant features a 2,925cc inline six-cylinder diesel engine generating 282bhp and 600Nm torque. All three engines are paired with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission.
