The French carmaker, Citroen has introduced its first model, the C5 Aircross in the country. The C5 Aircross is a mid-size SUV and will rival against the likes of the Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass, and the upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan.
With a length of 4,500mm, the C5 Aircross has a wide and tall stance. The raised sculpted bonnet with high curved shoulder lines gives it an SUV-ish appeal. Up front, it houses a two-tier headlight setup with the upper portion having LED DRLs with chrome borders running across the bonnet line. The LED headlamps are bumper-mounted with side air inlets, front parking sensors, and fog lamps at the bottom. The side profile looks appealing with the C-shaped chrome window line, roof rails, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and thick plastic cladding at the lower portion of the body. The rear gets raised taillamps with four box-type graphics, parking sensors, boot-mounted number plate, and a wide black cladding with chrome exhaust tailpipes cut-out at the bottom.
Inside, the cabin wears a dark and light grey theme. The rectangular elements from the exterior can be spotted in the cabin as well on the leather seat upholstery, door pads, and the aircon vents. The eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and also serves as the display screen for the reverse parking camera. The steering gets built-in controls and commands the 12.3-inch customisable driver’s display. The second-row seats can be reclined and adjusted individually. Other highlights of the cabin include a panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents, hands-free electric tailgate, and multiple storage options.

This includes blind spot monitoring, hill start and hill descent assist, six airbags, electric parking brake, fog lights with cornering function, and park assist with automated steering for parallel or bay parking, among others.
