BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX is the petrol variant in the X3 lineup and is priced at 57.50000.It returns a certified mileage of 13.17 kmpl. This xDrive30i SportX variant comes with an engine putting out 248 bhp @ 5200 rpm and 350 Nm @ 1450 rpm of max power and max torque respectively. BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX is available in Automatic (Torque Converter) transmission and offered in 4 colours: Black Sapphire, Phytonic Blue, Sophisto Grey Brilliant Effect and Mineral White.
Variants
The X3 is offered in three trim levels in the country - starting with the X3 xDrive30i SportX, xDrive30i Luxury Line and xDrive20d Luxury Line.
Market introduction
BMW launched the third generation X3 (codenamed G01) in India on 19 April 2018 with a diesel-only powertrain. After two months, the brand also introduced a petrol variant of the X3.
Engine and transmission
This compact SUV comes with two engine options. To begin with, there is a 1,998cc in-line four-cylinder turbocharged petrol motor that generates 248bhp and 350Nm of torque. Another is a 1,995cc in-line four-cylinder turbocharged diesel that produces 188bhp and delivers 400Nm of torque. Both engines are paired to an eight-speed automatic torque converter. In addition, the X3 is also equipped with all-wheel drive.
Exterior
The X3 bears a familiar front end with its signature kidney grille finished in chrome, hexagonal-corona-ring styled daytime running lamps and adaptive LED headlights. Moreover, it also features burnished aluminium roof rails, side window frames and LED taillights. Meanwhile, the SportX trim gets 18-inch alloy wheels while the Luxury Line variants come with 19-inch ones.
Interior
The cabin of the X3 wears Vernasca leather upholstery available in either Canberra Beige or Mocha for the Luxury Line variants. On the other hand, the SportX model is offered with Sensatec synthetic leather upholstery - Canberra Beige and Black. Besides that, BMW provides a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25 touchscreen infotainment (only in Luxury Line) system in the SUV.
Features
BMW has equipped the X3 with a host of features such as a wireless charging pad, 16 speakers, 600-watt Harman Kardon sound system, manual rear-side-window roller blinds, three-zone temperature control, reversing camera with front and rear parking sensors, hill descent and ascent assist, dynamic damper control and xDrive all-wheel-drive system.
Recent developments
The German carmaker revealed the third-generation X3 facelift about four months ago and it is likely to arrive in India later this year or at the beginning of 2022.

The BMW X3 competes against the Audi Mercedes-Benz GLC, Land Rover Discovery Sport, Lexus NX, Volvo XC60 and the upcoming Audi Q5.
